Most Winter Olympic Gold Medals Won in a Single Winter Olympics
Here is a list of the most gold medals won at a single Winter Olympics by an individual. At the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics, cross-country skier Johannes Høsflot Klæbo from Norway became the first athlete to win six gold medals at a single Winter Olympics, surpassing USA speed skater Eric Heiden who won all of his gold medals in individual events (while Klæbo won two of his in relay events). Klæbo also has the most career gold medals won by any Winter Olympic athlete, only behind swimmer Michael Phelps for athletes with the most all-time Olympic gold medals.
