Notes
- There have been many version of a women's tour event around France, that could be considered precursors to the current women's event held from 2022+ (the only one sanctioned by the men's tour organisers). The latest incarnation of a women's Tour de France is officially called the "Tour de France Femmes".
- In 1992 and 1993 there were two different womens tour races in France.
